Panasonic-Technics, the world known manufacturer of hitech products, hosted in Rodos Palace, from 19th April to 2nd May, its Digital Networking Seminar for 2001, therefore the first presentation in the European market of its new digital products.

The event took the form of successive seminars, the first being internal regarding the marketing and sales strategy of the corporation. Closely followed the presentation of the Digital Networking products to over 100 journalists from all over Europe specialising in this field, while from April 27th the actual product launches to 500 dealers and salesmen of Panasonic products from 16 European countries took place.

The highlight of the event was the outstanding exhibition of the Digital Networking products in well designed areas that simulated the ones in which the products are actually going to be used such as a living room, a car or even a plane cabin. In Jupiter Hall of the Rodos Palace Convention Center the entertainment netwok was developed including products such as home cinemas and DVD?s ranging from the ones for household use to the more complex units catering for professional needs. The presentation of the creative network comprising of PC's and digital photo and video cameras was accompanied by a fashion show in Salon des Roses, while the Nafsika and Nefeli halls hosted the mobile communications network exhibition referring mainly to mobile phones and car navigators.
